November 2019

Dear Friends and Family,

I am writing this final post from Paris. This month I stayed in Charendon-le-Pont (east Paris). The photos below are from Bois de Vincennes. This is the largest and oldest park in Paris and well worth the visit if you like to get away from the crowds and traffic. Lots of walking/biking trails, beautiful lake with islands to explore & boats to rent. I didn't go to the zoo or hippodrome, but those are here too!

If you're reading this you are one of few and I we have probably already been in touch about my return to Seattle, so I won't repeat here. Thanks for your encouragement since July. This has been a great adventure and a wonderful transition into retirement.

Take good care and stay in touch!

Wendy

  1. I think you need to explore photography as more than an hobby when you get home. These pictures are really, really, good. I feel like I could step into them and travel to Paris. Be safe and "there is no place like home."
